Hey Girl Hey!

I'm Javonne Crumby, creator of Lesbionyx-- A space for queer women of color. As a Black woman who loves women, I grew tired of the lack of representation and resources for women like me. So I created a platform for us and by us, because no one tells our stories like us!

These Trainers Will Help You Say YES to a Healthier Lifestyle

2018 will be knocking on our doors in less than a month. Are you ready for the New Year or are you one of those; “New Year, New me” individuals that set unrealistic goals for yourself? Most of us have been there, and some of us are still there. The most common resolution after a season of indulging in homemade goodies is to get in shape. Trying to make these changes on our own is one of the top reasons we fail to meet our goals. Many of us live a busy lifestyle and can’t make it to the gym. but if you can squeeze at least 30 minutes a day of exercise you’ll see some results. I know that’s easier said than done, so I made a list of online personal trainers that’ll get you looking right in 2018 (and they’re queer too)!

1) King Kellz

King Kellz is a certified online trainer. She offers reasonably priced custom workout and meals plans. She also offers one on one Skype advice as well as advice on nutrition and fitness. You can check out her website here.

2) Taylar Stallings

Taylar Stalling is the Director of Coaching at One EW. She is the 2017 Pan Arms and world teams athlete. (Pan American Championship is a weightlifting competition). You can check out her website here.

3) Dreama Davidson

Dreama Davidson (who is married to Taylar Stallings) is a sponsored athlete as well as a dancer and hip hop director at the New Tampa Dance Theatre. She is also the owner of DBD Gear, if you want to buy some of her gear check out her website. You can also visit her YouTube channel for her hip hop choreography.

Remember creating a “new you” takes effort and commitment. Try cooking more and eating out less. Whenever you are exercising remember to know your limits so you don't overexert yourself. Last but not least stay hydrated!

Let’s start the New Year off right!
