Hey Girl Hey!

I'm Javonne Crumby, creator of Lesbionyx-- A space for queer women of color. As a Black woman who loves women, I grew tired of the lack of representation and resources for women like me. So I created a platform for us and by us, because no one tells our stories like us!

"Sleepover" A Poem by MissBlackish

I have work tomorrow,

Really, Monday is tomorrow,

But how do I sleep,

When I feel your breath,

On my neck as if,

As if trying to awaken,

The hair on my pores,

That had bowed to chilly weather like hay,

The hay that bowed before David,

My body temperature quickly rising,

As quickly as global warming,

And my fingers tiptoe towards you,

As a man crawls to the oasis,

I can feel your breath in synch,

Under that thrifty T-shirt we share,

As I lay there like a country in turmoil,

A power struggle indeed imminent...
